The wedding vows

I study romantic relationships. I also wish to get engaged. So, of course, I've given a tremendous amount of thought as to what it really means for my partner and I to marry one another. Researchers have found that weddings are deeply significant life events, but we don't really know why they're so meaningful. Marriage may simply be about celebrating a milestone: recognizing the relationship that a couple has built together and the love that they share for each other. But weddings are also very future-oriented, as the couple publicly promises to maintain their relationship for life. I suspect that it's really these vows -- the solemn promises that the newlyweds make to each other in front of their closest friends and family -- that are at the crux of why weddings have such an emotional impact.
No pressure. I sat down to think about my own vows, clearly i had a lot to consider. If these promises are the essence of what it means to be married, then what exactly do we want to promise each other? We could always go with the traditional marriage vows: for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, for better for worse... but, these seemed a bit too vague for my taste. I decided that i wanted to make more specific, behavioural promises: things we can strive to do for each other that would help us to not only remain together, but also happy and fulfilled in our marriage.

Fashion @ weddings

Everyone wants to look their best at any function they attend and when it comes to  attending a wedding it becomes mandatory. Its not only that the bride and the groom have to be beautifully dressed but everyone around them also need to be  meticulously dressed. Let us start from the bride and groom.
The bride and the groom in their fat Indian wedding have  a lot of functions to attend and every function must have a different attire. Boy !! thats one huge task. This gets in a huge market of fashion designers and stores. The dresses to be worn are carefully selected , the clothes worn by both the groom and bride must match each other , the jewelry have to be a perfect match. This happens not only with the groom and brides dresses but also with the family and the relatives. huge chunk of money is spent of getting the perfect dress for everyone. Now a days there is so much craze for wedding dresses that we have seasonal fashion shows exclusive for the wedding season, where huge designers display there collection with something new in them every year.
We have the bridal fashion week happening every year and many such events. Even in huge stores and boutiques there is a special collection displayed for wedding wear during the wedding seasons. And these people at the weddings make it a point that the flaunt their designer labels and the fight goes on who looks better than whom.

Destination Weddings

ndian weddings are changing , the weddings now do not happen as old times, when it was just a small ceremony and a way of telling people that the couple will be known as husband and wife. Now weddings are more of a celebration and can be done in places never imagined. When we use to see movies by Karan Johar and Yash Chopra and the weddings that use to happen in the movies were restricted till there and never could i ever imagine that it could be a reality. It was always a dream to get married at thebeach or in a big huge palace. Now its a reality !!!!

Now weddings happen at various places some people get married in Dubai or Thailand some book huge palace and get married like Prince and Princess.
A huge bulk of money is spent in these weddings. All the flight tickets the rooms to stay their food ,entertainment is taken care by the Host family. I have once been to  a wedding on the same lines were the whole resort was booked just for the wedding for three nights and there was a huge celebration everyday. A small getaway for the guest and an awesome start for a Happily Ever After :):)

A dream job

When we talk about weddings and marriages its a very sacred feeling and a bond that is created between two people who vow to spend their whole life together in sickness and in health. But in a country like India its more than just a holy matrimony, its an EVENT... like FLIMFARE. In india the wedding is not only for the couple but an event for the thousands of people attending the wedding. And now a days its not just a one day ceremony it goes on for a whole week. So technically speaking it’s HUGE. Indians tend to spend there long life savings on this wedding event and are happy to do the same. Weddings like any other event requires a of lot of planning ,starting right from the shoe that will be worn by the Bride and the Groom till their first night room decoration, from a small tissue paper given away with the plates to the deserts served. Lots of things to be taken care and it gets too hectic for the family to take care of all this on their own. Here comes the wedding planner for the rescue. This concept of hiring wedding planners is becoming very comman in India. Its their job and headache to manage the event and make sure that the D-DAY is remembered forever. Wedding Industry is one of the fast growing industries in India with more than $ 38 billion spent in the year 2013. This gives a great scope of growth for the wedding planners.
Since i was a little girl i always wanted to get married and be a bride and invite everyone to celebrate with me the most happiest day of my life and since then i have cherished this day and plan to spread my joy and love for weddings by planning others wedding and making it special. So here i m intending to be a wedding planner and making the day of the Bride and the Groom the best day of their life.
